  • Forvia starts buyback of up to one million shares to hedge incentives

Forvia will repurchase up to one million of its own shares on the stock exchange between September 3 and 18. The purpose of the program is to hedge long-term employee and management incentives. After the heavily debt-financed Hella takeover, management sees the buyback program as a positive signal to the capital market. » More on finanzen.net

  • Forvia Hella confirms guidance despite weaker first half

Forvia Hella is maintaining its full-year forecast after a first half that was predictably weaker. Currency-adjusted revenue rose to just over €4 billion, but operating profit fell by almost 10% to €214 million and the operating margin slipped to 5.4%. For 2026 Hella still targets currency-adjusted revenue of around €7.4–7.9 billion and an operating margin of about 5.4–6.0%. » More on finanzen.net

  • Forvia Hella confirms annual targets after weak start to year and expects margin improvement

Forvia Hella reports an operating result of €96m for Q1 (−12%) and a revenue decline of nearly 3% to €1.9bn, weighed down by a strong euro and weakness in the lighting business. The electronics segment grew thanks to high demand for radar sensors and became the largest group division for the first time. Cost reductions, including in R&D, offset part of the revenue decline; group profit rose slightly due to significantly lower restructuring costs. Management expects an improved operating margin and net cash flow over the course of the year and confirms guidance (organic revenue €7.4–7.9bn, operating margin 5.4–6.0%, net cash flow ≥1.8% of revenue), but cites the war in the Middle East as an uncertainty factor. » More on de.investing.com
