IQE records strong revenue growth and EBITDA turnaround

IQE reports revenue of £64.6m for the half year to 30 June 2026 (+43% year‑on‑year) and a switch to profitability on adjusted EBITDA of £6.0m (prior year: -£0.4m). Drivers were the Photonics segment (+45% to £38.5m) and the Wireless segment (+40% to £26.0m). IQE raised its revenue forecast for 2026 to more than 30% above the previous year and expects at least £64m in revenue for H1. The company is targeting adjusted EBITDA in the low double-digit millions of pounds, representing a step toward profitability. Multi-million order from AI sector boosts IQE stock

IQE has received a multi-year production order worth $14 million from a strategic, global technology customer; the wafers are to be manufactured in Newport (Wales) for AI and data centre applications. The share rose about 4.1%, reaching an intraday high of 42.3 pence (closing at around 41.1 pence). In addition, a recently completed £81 million capital raise and a long-term supply agreement strengthen the balance sheet, while short interest fell by roughly 89% in June.
