Legrand rises after double upgrade by major banks
Legrand shares climbed after Deutsche Bank upgraded from Hold to Buy (price target €160) and Morgan Stanley named it a Top Pick (price target €160, Overweight). The banks pointed to accelerated organic growth drivers such as data centres, the energy transition and digital lifestyles, which now account for around 60% of sales. Legrand reported organic revenue growth of 9.8% in H1 2026; management raised the full-year revenue growth forecast to 16–19% and expects 25–30% growth for data centres. The roughly 2.5% share-price gain is seen as a pure corporate signal, but the stock still trades below its 52-week high. » More on de.investing.com
Legrand rises after Morgan Stanley upgrade and target price increase
Legrand shares climbed about 2.7% to €140.05 after Morgan Stanley named the company a “Top-Pick” in the European industrials sector, raised the price target from €155 to €160 and reiterated an “Overweight” rating. The bank sees more near-term upside potential than for Schneider Electric and bases its view on Legrand’s raised revenue forecast for 2026 and robust organic growth of 9.8% in the first half. Strong growth in the data center segment (almost one third of sales, >30% global growth) and a neutral-to-supportive market backdrop contributed to the rally. » More on de.investing.com
Barclays upgrades Legrand and raises price target to €185
Barclays has upgraded Legrand from "Equal Weight" to "Overweight" and raised the price target from €159 to €185. The bank cites underestimated near‑term demand from AI‑driven data center investment and believes risks from the shift to 800VDC are overplayed. Barclays increased adjusted EBITA estimates for 2026–2028 by 4–6%, sees an addressable market for electrical, cooling and services of around USD 140bn through 2028, and points to Legrand’s recent acquisitions to strengthen high‑growth segments. » More on de.investing.com
