  • Barclays upgrades Legrand and raises price target to €185

Barclays has upgraded Legrand from "Equal Weight" to "Overweight" and raised the price target from €159 to €185. The bank cites underestimated near‑term demand from AI‑driven data center investment and believes risks from the shift to 800VDC are overplayed. Barclays increased adjusted EBITA estimates for 2026–2028 by 4–6%, sees an addressable market for electrical, cooling and services of around USD 140bn through 2028, and points to Legrand’s recent acquisitions to strengthen high‑growth segments. » More on de.investing.com

  • Legrand gains after optimistic outlook for data centers

The Legrand share rose after management comments at a JPMorgan conference that dispelled concerns about the company’s strategic positioning in the data center business. Legrand emphasized that growth in the data center sector remains strong and will not end in 2026; the medium-term addressable market is about €400 billion. Analysts, including Phil Buller of JPMorgan, therefore consider the central 'bear case' for the medium-term strategy to be refuted. » More on de.investing.com

  • Legrand acquires US specialist Girtz Industries for power supply solutions

Legrand has acquired Girtz Industries of Monticello, Indiana, a provider of modular power supply and generator solutions for data centers as well as industrial and infrastructure customers. Girtz employs around 300 people and generates annual revenue of just under USD 80 million. The acquisition strengthens Legrand’s US business in power supply and data center infrastructure and is the group’s sixth takeover since early 2026; financial terms were not disclosed. » More on de.investing.com
