EU approves €400 million for Sanofi to build insulin plant in Hesse

The European Commission allows Germany to support Sanofi with €400 million to offset the net costs of building a new insulin factory in Frankfurt‑Höchst. Sanofi commits to complete the facility by the end of 2032 and to produce at least 1.1 tonnes of insulin annually until the end of 2042, as well as to stockpile one tonne of active ingredient. In the event of supply shortages, Sanofi must prioritise supplying European markets. Antipodes exits Sanofi after repeated pipeline setbacks

Antipodes Global Value Strategy exited its position in Sanofi following a series of R&D and pipeline disappointments that reduced confidence in the company's ability to handle Dupixent's loss of exclusivity. Sanofi India misses Q2 profit forecast, shares fall

Sanofi India reported Q2 revenue growth of 7% with EPS of 39.3 versus analysts’ estimate of 44.4, prompting the stock to drop 2.18%. Domestic business and the diabetes segment drove growth (diabetes +14% in the quarter), while exports (-2%) and the partnership portfolio were weaker. Pre-tax profit rose 19% to 112 Crore INR, operating costs fell, but the first half shows declining total revenue.
