SunPower has appointed Tom Kowalczuk as chief financial officer effective June 30, 2026, and granted him 1.0 million restricted stock units as an incentive. Cobalt Power Systems, a SunPower subsidiary, partnered with Wunder Power to install a 220.9 kW DC solar system at San Francisco’s Waterfront Plaza expected to generate about 349,000 kWh annually. The commercial project required custom-engineered anchor points, installation of 554 high-efficiency modules on a post-tension concrete roof and more than 3,000 ballast blocks to meet seismic and loading requirements.
