Aridge, in which XPeng holds a majority stake, aims to start mass production of the roughly 5.5-meter-long AeroHT hybrid and its two-seat hexacopter from the second half of 2026. Initial planned annual capacity is about 5,000 units, later up to 10,000, with around 7,000 preorders and a unit price of about 280,000 US dollars. Total investments are approaching 1 billion US dollars; the CAAC has certified Aridge's basic suitability as a manufacturer, but approvals in Europe remain uncertain. » More on heise.de

Xpeng shares tumble after weaker-than-expected Q3 delivery guidance despite $6.3bn robotics valuation
Xpeng shares dropped over 9% in Hong Kong after the company forecast third-quarter deliveries of 115,000–121,000 vehicles, missing investor expectations amid supply-chain disruption tied to the MONA L03 ramp-up. The company reported a second-quarter net loss of 1.34 billion yuan while revenue rose 8% to 19.74 billion yuan. Xpeng’s robotics unit raised more than $900 million at a post-money valuation above $6.3 billion, and Citi estimates the EV business has an implied value of about $6.5 billion, roughly on par with the robotics arm. » More on cnbc.com
