Adecco beats earnings estimates, stock falls after slight revenue miss
Adecco reported adjusted earnings per share of $0.61 in the second quarter, beating estimates by 24.8%, while revenue of $6.0bn narrowly missed the consensus expectation by 0.66%. The stock fell about 3.9% pre-market as investors focused on the slightly weaker revenue growth, one-off charges and only gradual near-term margin improvements. Organic revenue growth was 5.6% (fifth consecutive quarter), the company improved margins and plans to expand the use of agentic AI to 70% of revenue by the end of 2026. Management expects a slight gross margin improvement in Q3 but sees restructuring costs (~€15m) and regional unevenness as short-term risks. » More on de.investing.com
