Algernon Pharmaceuticals to be renamed Algernon Health and to focus on Alzheimer’s diagnostics

Algernon Pharmaceuticals will change its name to Algernon Health; trading under the new name on the Canadian Securities Exchange will begin on October 20, 2025, the ticker will remain AGN, and new CUSIP and ISIN numbers will be issued. The company is shifting its strategy to the Alzheimer’s diagnostics market and plans to build specialized neuroimaging PET clinics in North America. Algernon signed an equipment and financing agreement with Catalyst MedTech for four Oncovision CareMiBrain PET systems worth over 4 million CAD and has an option for six additional systems.
