Amaroq moves from AIM to main market of the London Stock Exchange
Amaroq has published a prospectus approved by the FCA for the admission of its ordinary shares to the Official List and expects trading to commence on the main market of the London Stock Exchange on Thursday at 08:00. At the same time, trading of the shares on AIM will be suspended; the last AIM trading day is Wednesday. Amaroq announces change of chair ahead of London listing
Amaroq appoints Sigurbjorn Thorkelsson as non-executive chair, replacing Graham Stewart, who will remain on the supervisory board as an independent, non-executive member. Ahead of admission to the London main market, which is not expected before 31 July 2026, three independent, non-executive members will be appointed to the supervisory board: Annette Brøndholt, Jorunn Johanne Sætre (as Senior Independent Director) and Teitur Poulsen. David Neuhauser has left the supervisory board but will remain with the company as a senior adviser. Amaroq doubles revolving credit facility to US$70 million
Amaroq has increased its revolving credit facility with Landsbankinn and the Gunvor Group from US$35 million to US$70 million. The facility runs until 1 May 2028, is secured by real estate, plant and equipment, shares and accounts, and includes a fee of 0.55% (US$385,000). The interest rate is based on Term SOFR plus a margin of up to 7.50%, which can step down to as low as 4.50% with rising EBITDA; Gunvor has secured an offtake agreement for gold produced at Nalunaq. Amaroq says the move improves liquidity flexibility, reduces financing costs and prepares the company for the exploration season and the completion of Phase 2 of the Nalunaq processing plant. » More on de.investing.com
