Ballard Power Systems to acquire GeoPura to bolster stationary hydrogen power

Ballard Power Systems agreed to buy UK-based GeoPura for £275.0 million, funded with £82.5 million cash and about 50.8 million Ballard shares, plus up to £27.5 million in milestone payments. The acquisition adds GeoPura's integrated hydrogen production, logistics, refueling and fuel-cell power solutions and aims to grow recurring energy-as-a-service revenue per deployed megawatt.
