  • BlackRock profit rises as ETFs and performance fees drive $130 billion inflows

    BlackRock reported first-quarter net profit of $2.21 billion ($14.06 per share) and adjusted earnings of $12.53 per share, above analyst expectations. The firm saw $130 billion of net inflows, led by iShares ETFs, and investment advisory performance fees jumped to $272 million from $60 million a year earlier. Assets under management rose to $13.89 trillion.
