    Bureau Veritas is negotiating the sale of its inspection division for oil, petrochemicals and coal to Triton Partners at an enterprise value of €470m. The unit generated around €450m in revenue in 2025, showed slower growth and weighed on the group’s margin. The transaction implies an EV/EBIT of 11.1 based on 2025 (IFRS 16) and is expected to be largely earnings‑neutral on completion, while improving organic growth, adjusted operating margin and return on capital.
