Bureau Veritas beat market expectations for revenue and profit in the first half of 2026; organic revenue growth was 5.0% and 5.5% in the second quarter. Adjusted operating profit rose to €506.5m with a margin of 15.5%, and adjusted net earnings per share increased 9.8% at constant currency. The company raised its full-year guidance to organic revenue growth in the “moderate to high single-digit percentage range” and completed the acquisition of LotusWorks, which is expected to be margin-accretive from 2026. Bureau Veritas is negotiating the sale of its inspection division for oil, petrochemicals and coal to Triton Partners at an enterprise value of €470m. The unit generated around €450m in revenue in 2025, showed slower growth and weighed on the group’s margin. The transaction implies an EV/EBIT of 11.1 based on 2025 (IFRS 16) and is expected to be largely earnings‑neutral on completion, while improving organic growth, adjusted operating margin and return on capital.
