Captivision has engaged Hard Rock Consulting to re-evaluate the gold and precious metal reserves of the planned acquisition Montana Tunnels, prepare mine plans and perform an economic assessment. Captivision shares rose 4.6% after the acquisition was announced. Montana Tunnels Mining, a subsidiary of Montana Goldfields, is being acquired in an all‑stock transaction and is valued at $750 million versus $50 million for Captivision. Upon closing the company will be renamed Montana Gold and traded on the NASDAQ under the ticker MGI; Montana Goldfields contributes three mines with proven deposits and existing infrastructure.
