CleanSpark advances conversion of mining sites into AI data centers
At the H.C. Wainwright conference, CleanSpark presented its strategic shift from pure Bitcoin mining to AI colocation and cloud data centers and cited concrete progress on sites and contracts. The company reported, among other items, a 20âyear triple-net lease worth $6.6 billion and the win of a 110âmegawatt project in Cheyenne; the first data center hall is scheduled for handover at the end of 2027. Across the industry, valuations for AIâHPC infrastructure rose sharply (up to $12â13 million per MW for 2027 commissions), while rising construction costs, labor shortages and supply bottlenecks were named as the main risks. Managers emphasized strong real demand from hyperscalers but warned that many announced projects could remain speculative. » More on de.investing.com

At the H.C. Wainwright conference CleanSpark said Bitcoin miners are using existing power and land resources to build AI data centers. CleanSpark reported a 20-year triple-net lease worth $6.6 billion and expects about $330 million in annual revenue from it; the company holds exclusive rights for up to 885 megawatts in Texas, of which 585 megawatts are immediately available. The panel highlighted rising construction costs (now $12â13 million/MW), project-level financing structures, and regulatory and labor risks as key challenges. According to participants, the industry has already recorded AI contracts totaling more than $160 billion and sees strong long-term hyperscaler demand. » More on de.investing.com
CleanSpark stock jumps as mining equities rally while Bitcoin trades near $80,000
CleanSpark shares rose about 7% as crypto-linked equities outpaced nearly flat Bitcoin, benefiting from embedded leverage in mining businesses. The company is rebounding after a weak month and a miss in its latest quarter, highlighting a pivot toward diversified digital infrastructure anchored by a 20-year, $6.6 billion triple-net lease at Sandersville. CleanSpark controls more than 1.8 GW of power, land and data centers, positioning it to generate a second revenue stream when mining margins compress. » More on finance.yahoo.com
