Moody's has downgraded the rating of Crane NXT's primarily secured obligations from Baa3 to Ba1; the corporate family rating and the probability of default rating remain at Ba1. The downgrade is due to a high proportion of secured debt in the capital structure and a lower recovery rate than expected. Crane NXT named Jason Lund president of Crane Payment Innovations and group president of the Detection and Traceability Technologies segment. Lund will lead the CPI business and the DTT segment with a focus on growth, operational excellence and customer-focused innovation. Crane NXT expects about $1.9bn in revenue for 2026, an adjusted EBITDA margin of 24% and a free cash flow conversion of 100%. The acquisition of Antares Vision is expected to contribute $200–210m to 2026 revenue and integration is proceeding faster than planned. Nationwide rollout of the new $10 note has been pushed to 2027, but the currency segment reports a record order backlog through 2028.
