Edisun Power buys Smartenergy business for around CHF 440 million
Edisun Power is acquiring the operating activities of the Smartenergy Group for a purchase price of just under CHF 440 million. To finance the deal, Smartenergy will initially grant a loan equal to the purchase price, which will be offset by the subscription of around 2 million new registered shares of Edisun Power at CHF 218.05 per share. The capital increase is to take place in the coming days, and the new shares are expected to be listed on SIX in the fourth quarter.
