Morgan Stanley upgrades Equity Residential to overweight, raises target to $74
Morgan Stanley upgraded Equity Residential (EQR) from Equalweight to Overweight and raised the price target to $74, citing greater supply resilience in the company’s markets and anticipated outperformance of urban assets versus suburban peers. The firm noted EQR’s higher West Coast exposure could support a stronger recovery, though heavier Los Angeles exposure may limit upside. Argus recently trimmed its target to $70 but kept a Buy rating, and EQR management expects about $200 million from asset sales in the first half of the year to fund share repurchases. » More on finance.yahoo.com
