Barclays raises price target for GEA to €79 and affirms overweight

Barclays raised its price target for GEA from €78 to €79 and kept the rating at "Overweight." Analyst Timothy Lee sees no weakening in demand and expects around 10% organic order growth, which should offset a slight decline in organic revenue growth. GEA reaches new record high after positive signals for third quarter

The GEA share rose to a new record high, driven by positive statements from the plant engineering firm about expected again-strong order intake in the third quarter. Analysts subsequently raised several price targets (Oddo BHF €77, Barclays €79, LBBW €76); MWB Research confirmed its buy target of €76. JPMorgan increased its target to €68 but kept a neutral rating. Bernstein halts GEA rally, downgrades to Market-Perform

Bernstein analyst Benjamin Thielmann initiated coverage of GEA at “Market-Perform” with a €69 price target after praising order intake, margin improvements and the service business. However, following a buyback announcement and an upgrade of targets for 2026, he sees no further near-term share-price catalysts, since potential large orders and higher margin targets for 2030 are already priced in.
