Goldman Sachs raises target price for GEA to €64, rating remains "Neutral"

Gea reports double-digit growth, raises annual target and launches 500-million-euro share buyback

Gea posted double-digit growth in revenue and order intake in the second quarter and improved profitability. The executive board raised its outlook and now expects revenue growth of 6–8% and an EBITDA margin before restructuring costs of 17–17.4%. The stability is attributed to the broad product portfolio (including beverage, dairy and food systems as well as pharma) and resilience to economic cycles. Gea rises after quarterly results, price gain narrows to 0.6 percent

The Gea share rose after final quarterly figures, confirming the previously released key data, but most recently was only 0.6 percent up at €64.20. JPMorgan analyst Akash Gupta assessed the results as in line with the preliminary indications with mixed individual outcomes; Oddo BHF analyst Adrian Pehl called the figures solid.
