Infosys: JPMorgan and HSBC downgrade after weak outlook
JPMorgan cut its rating from overweight to neutral and lowered the price target from âč1,200 to âč1,050, while HSBC downgraded from buy to hold and cut its target from âč1,340 to âč1,110. Both banks attributed the downgrades to missed Q1 numbers, a reduced revenue-growth forecast for fiscal 2027, weaker demand, AI-driven price deflation and headwinds in contract business. Despite slower revenue realization, operating margins remained robust and Infosys reported a total contract value of large wins of $3.6 billion. The company also announced an internal succession plan: Ashiss Kumar Dash will replace Salil Parekh in April 2027. » More on de.investing.com
