Jack in the Box reported Q3 2026 operating earnings per share of $0.96, beating the consensus estimate, while revenue of $257.66 million missed expectations. Same-store sales fell 1.1% on a comparable basis, weighed down by fewer transactions partly offset by price increases; restaurant margins and franchise income came under pressure. Management plans menu simplification, operational improvements, debt reduction and is testing a premium burger platform for 2027; for 2026 the company expects flat to slightly positive same-store sales.
