Weak quarterly results weigh on Kyndryl stock
Kyndryl reported a 3% revenue decline in Q1 of fiscal 2027 to $3.62 billion and an adjusted loss per share of $0.12, missing consensus. Restructuring charges of $152 million weighed on the results; adjusted EBITDA fell about 21% to $512 million and the margin dropped to 14.2%. Free cash flow worsened to -$459 million, and although Kyndryl Consult grew 10% and the hyperscaler business 34% and the full-year outlook was confirmed, investors still reacted negatively and the stock fell about 3.6% in morning trading. » More on de.investing.com
Kyndryl and Microsoft expand offering for cloud sovereignty
Kyndryl is expanding its sovereignty services in collaboration with Microsoft, integrating Microsoft Sovereign Cloud capabilities and Azure Local into its consulting, engineering and operational offerings. The joint offering is intended to help customers—particularly governments and highly regulated industries—address data residency, access control and implementation of regulatory requirements such as DSGVO, DORA and NIS2. With this move, Kyndryl aims to benefit from rising demand for sovereign cloud architectures, despite margin pressure and a sharp drop in its share price last year. » More on de.investing.com
