Majedie Investments posts NAV return of 10.7% in third quarter

Majedie Investments reported a net asset value total return of 10.7% for the quarter ended 30 June; year-to-date return stands at 15.6%. Performance was driven mainly by external, equity-focused managers and direct investments, notably funds focused on Korea, special situations, China and biotech, as well as a UK-listed direct holding. During the quarter Majedie realised proceeds from co-investments in Orizon Valorização de Resíduos SA and CVS Health and received a takeover offer for a smaller direct holding. The company increased its exposure to large-cap quality growth stocks via the Brown Advisory Global Focus Fund and continues to see elevated geopolitical uncertainty and monetary policy influences on markets. » More on de.investing.com
