REE Automotive has appointed Hicham Abdessamad as chairman of the supervisory board effective December 22, 2025. Abdessamad has been a member of the board since March 29, 2023, and succeeds Carlton Rose, who will remain a supervisory board member. REE Automotive receives Nasdaq extension until June 29, 2026 after falling below minimum bid-price requirement

Nasdaq granted REE Automotive a further 180-day extension to restore the $1.00 minimum bid price. REE Automotive shifts strategy: focus on technology partnerships and cost cuts

REE Automotive scales back vehicle production and is betting on partnerships with OEMs to commercialize its software-defined vehicle technology. A letter of intent has been converted into a binding agreement to develop an autonomous shuttle that could generate up to $107 million within two years. Additional LOIs are in place with Mitsubishi Fuso and Cascadia Motion (BorgWarner) to integrate REE technology; at the same time the company is significantly reducing operating costs and targets monthly spending of about $1.8 million through Q1 2026.
