  • Rheinmetall: support at €900 holds, base formation possible

The Rheinmetall stock is consolidating after strong gains the previous day and has defended support around €900.20 for months; a base may be forming. Fundamental strength from the order situation and technological position is present, but the business model must adapt faster due to changed warfare and the emergence of low-cost drones. Valuation-wise the stock is high, with an expected 2026 P/E of 28.63; a significant profit increase through 2028 is already priced in, and in the event of a surprise ceasefire a test of support at €781.70 would be conceivable. » More on finanzen.net

  • Rheinmetall begins series production of SAR satellites in Neuss

Rheinmetall has started serial production in Neuss of SAR satellites that are being built together with Iceye through the subsidiary Rheinmetall Iceye Space Solutions. Around 50 satellites are to be produced per year, and the first launch on a SpaceX rocket is planned for early 2027. Under a multi-year contract of around €1.7 billion, the Bundeswehr has been granted exclusive access to an unspecified number of the satellites to improve reconnaissance and early-warning capabilities. Rheinmetall aims to expand its portfolio with the production and to retool the Neuss plant for drones, combat turrets and satellites. » More on finanzen.net

Rheinmetall supplies air defense solutions such as Skyranger and Skynex, while Hensoldt provides radar sensors and mobile detection vehicles. The increased demand for sensors and defense technology strengthens the medium-term outlook for arms suppliers like Rheinmetall. » More on deraktionaer.de
