SciSparc said its subsidiary NeuroThera Labs filed a US patent application, published by the US Patent Office, for a combination of MDMA and N‑acylethanolamines, including palmitoylethanolamide, to treat PTSD, anxiety disorders and eating disorders. The application, created in collaboration with Clearmind Medicine, adds to a series of joint patent filings. SciSparc reports that its majority-owned company NeuroThera has been granted an Israeli patent for a proprietary combination of opioids and N‑acylethanolamines, including PEA. The patent covers methods and formulations that boost the pain-relieving effect of opioids at lower doses and are intended to reduce side effects such as tolerance, dependence and gastrointestinal complaints.
