UBS downgrades SFS to "Neutral" after rally, raises price target to CHF 145
UBS cut SFS from "Buy" to "Neutral", citing the strong share rally. At the same time the bank raised its price target from CHF 130 to CHF 145 and slightly increased earnings and free cash flow estimates for 2026–27. SFS shares fell about 7.6%; UBS warns of a weakening in organic revenue growth and stagnating margins in the second half of 2026 and believes efficiency measures are already priced in. End markets are mixed: slightly declining auto production, but a projected recovery in construction in 2027. » More on de.investing.com
SFS falls after UBS downgrade despite strong half-year results
The SFS share fell about 7.6% to CHF 129.2 after UBS cut its rating from "Buy" to "Neutral", assessing the risk-reward as balanced following the recent price rise. The bank did raise its price target to CHF 145 and increased its earnings estimates for 2026–27, but warned of a slowdown in earnings momentum in the second half of the year. SFS had reported strong half-year figures: adjusted EBIT of CHF 206 million (+22.5%) and organic revenue growth of 4.0%, which beat analysts' expectations, but that was not enough to stop the selling pressure after the reassessment. » More on de.investing.com
