Shurgard cuts guidance and withdraws medium-term targets
Shurgard has lowered its revenue growth forecast for 2026 to 3.5–4.5% (previously 6–8%) and its adjusted EBITDA to €263–268 million (previously €278–289 million). Adjusted EPRA earnings per share are now expected at €1.64–1.68, a decline of 3–6% year‑on‑year (previously forecast at -1% to +4%). Operating rental income rose in H1 2026 by 3% to €229.6 million, with an occupancy rate of 88.5%; the UK business recorded negative growth of 0.9%. Shurgard Self-Storage: growth slows in third quarter, target for 2025 remains achievable
Shurgard reports a currency-adjusted EPRA result up 3.8% for the first nine months of 2025 and adjusted EBITDA up 13.7%. Rental income from property operations rose 13.6% to €336.5m.
