Silverco Mining to target production ramp-up in Mexico to 10 million ounces
Silverco Mining presented a plan at an investor conference to become a major silver producer over the coming years with its two Mexican sites, La Negra and Cusi. The company cites a strong capital base, including a private placement of CAD 62.5 million and an 11% stake by Eric Sprott, and lays out timelines: first concentrate from Cusi in Q4 2026 and commercial production by H1 2027. La Negra is currently operating at about 55% of mill capacity and is to be increased to 90–95% through investments; the target is a production rate of 4–5 million ounces by the end of 2027 and a long-term 10 million ounces silver-equivalent per year. Management sees significant exploration potential but warns of execution risks related to restart, workforce availability and supply-chain lead times. » More on de.investing.com
