Sohu posts slight GAAP profit in Q2 2026 on rising revenue

Sohu reported revenue of $135.54 million in Q2 2026 (+7% YoY) and earnings of $0.02 per share, with the reported profit supported by the reversal of about $30 million in tax reserves. Revenue growth was driven by marketing services and the gaming business (notably TLBB PC), while the media platform continued to incur operating losses. For Q3 management expects sequentially lower revenue and forecasts a GAAP and non-GAAP net loss of $23–30 million.
