TAESA beats Q1 2026 earnings forecast, stock falls in after-hours trading
TAESA reported Q1 2026 EPS of $0.7327, beating analysts’ estimate of $0.7158. Revenue was BRL 656 million, regulatory EBITDA rose 10.3% to BRL 562.1 million, and regulatory net income increased 2.3% to BRL 192.6 million. TAESA reports consolidated EBITDA for 2025 of over R$2.1 billion (+12.5%; adjusted +7.3%) and a Q4 regulatory net income of R$313.1 million (+56.1%). Regulatory net revenue rose to R$2,513.3 million (+7.9%), while adjusted operating costs increased by only 2.0%, remaining below inflation. The variable regulatory component fell to 0.53%, operational availability rose to 99.94%, and technology initiatives helped reduce outages.
