Thomson Reuters announced the pricing of a public U.S. bond offering of $1.3 billion and a Canadian private placement of about C$1 billion. In the U.S., TR Finance LLC is issuing $800 million (5.100%, maturing 2028) and $500 million (5.750%, maturing 2033). In Canada, bonds of C$350 million (4.130%, 2029), C$350 million (4.480%, 2031) and floating-rate notes of C$300 million (CORRA+0.76%, 2029) are being placed; both transactions are expected to close on September 17, 2026. Thomson Reuters' stock lost about 3.2% to $145.42 after Google launched the platform Gemini Enterprise for Legal, which offers AI agents for law firms and can integrate with legal‑tech providers like HighQ. Thomson Reuters has made CoCounsel Legal generally available, an AI-powered platform for research, brief drafting and document analysis. The tool includes the Westlaw Brief Builder, Deep Research Verify, and integrates content from Westlaw and Practical Law as well as the company’s own legal LLM for document analysis.
