UIL: investee Diraq receives letter of intent for up to USD 38 million in US funding
UIL portfolio company Diraq has signed a letter of intent with the US Department of Commerce for up to USD 38 million from the CHIPS Research and Development Office to support the production and scaling of fault-tolerant silicon‑based quantum processors in the US. Diraq is developing chips with the potential for millions of qubits and operates offices in Sydney, Palo Alto and Chicago; a site in Los Angeles is planned.
