West Wits Mining advances Kuala Shafts gold project and explores uranium initiative
West Wits Mining is accelerating the development of the Kuala Shafts gold project, securing credit facilities totalling about $62.5m and implementing a gold hedging strategy with a put option at $3,000/oz. The company plans to process gold at Sibanye‑Stillwater’s Ezulwini plant, will use a hybrid mining method and targets production of 70,000 oz p.a., with an ultimate aim of 200,000 oz under “Project 200”.
