ACS plans around €1 billion via Hochtief for acquisitions in defense sector

The Spanish group ACS reportedly intends to make around €1 billion available for takeovers in the defense sector and to execute these transactions through subsidiary Hochtief and its unit Turner. ACS is apparently conducting several due-diligence reviews of potential targets; GMV, Grupo Oesia and Aicox are being named as candidates. Blackstones GIP and ACS form 50:50 joint venture for data centers worth around €2 billion

Blackstones Global Infrastructure Partners and ACS are creating a 50:50 joint venture to develop an initial data center portfolio with an estimated value of around €2 billion. The portfolio contributed by ACS includes development projects in Europe, the US and Australia with a total capacity of 1.7 gigawatts. ACS will receive about €1 billion in cash plus earn-out payments of up to €1 billion tied to commercial milestones, with up to €200 million available for additional projects.
