Basilea raises 2026 guidance after strong first half

Basilea reports H1 2026 revenue up 14% to 119 million CHF and operating profit up 32% to 31.6 million CHF; net profit was 27.9 million CHF and net cash doubled to 105 million CHF. Drivers were strong Cresemba sales and higher licensing and other income; Cresemba product sales are around $782 million (+27% over 12 months). The company raised its full-year forecast and now expects about 15% revenue growth and roughly 40% growth in operating profit for 2026. Basilea receives additional $30 million from BARDA for Fosmanogepix Phase III

Basilea has received a further $30 million from U.S. agency BARDA for the Phase III development of the antifungal Fosmanogepix, triggered by reaching a patient threshold. This raises BARDA funding for the two projects, Fosmanogepix and BAL2062, to a total of $123 million.
