Celtic has issued 16,612 ordinary shares with a nominal value of 1 penny each under its dividend reinvestment programme. The new shares were issued at a calculated price of 213.0 pence per share and rank equally with the existing ordinary shares. After the issue, the share capital consists of the stated classes; admission of the new ordinary shares to trading on AIM is expected to take place on 4 September 2026. The Pri0r1ty Intelligence Group has launched the new data- and AI-powered agency Metr1c, which aims to support brand partnerships in the entertainment sector with data-driven analysis and AI. Early clients include Celtic FC, Sony Music, The Brits, Scottish Golf and Favela Cerveja; Metr1c leverages resources from Pri0r1ty and the acquired agency Halfspace. Eleven Scottish football clubs still owe more than £22m in Covid-related loans to the Scottish government, with only £2.78m repaid by March 2025. Despite receiving significant revenues and transfer fees, most clubs have made limited repayments, while payment terms have been renegotiated for some.
