Copel reports strong profit growth in second quarter 2026

Copel recorded recurring EBITDA of BRL 1.6 billion in Q2 2026 (+21%) and a net profit of BRL 645.1 million (+42.6%), supported by improved operational performance, a tariff adjustment in the distribution business and tax benefits. Copel DisCo and Copel Geração e Transmissão together generated almost the entire consolidated EBITDA; the tariff review contributed additional revenue of around BRL 1 billion.
