The tool uses system-specific app data, large language models, retrieval-augmented generation and verified knowledge sources, provides explanations and can, if needed, escalate to customer support. Changes to system settings or battery operating profiles require the user’s confirmation before being applied. Enphase is introducing the IQ System Controller 3 and the IQ EV Charger 2 in Italy, allowing owners of IQ Battery 5P systems to integrate backup power functions and electric vehicle charging. The controller supports three-phase supply, secures loads up to 80 amps per phase and complies with CEI 0-21 requirements; installers can use an app to select which circuits are supplied during an outage. The IQ EV Charger 2 adapts charging to available solar production and begins charging when there is roughly 1.4 kW of solar surplus.
