Barclays raises target price for EON to €20, rating remains Equal Weight
After the H1 results, Barclays raised its price target for EON from €19 to €20 while keeping the rating at "Equal Weight." The increase was justified by solid half‑year figures, lower net debt, confirmation of the annual targets and the inclusion of the acquired British utility OVO in the valuation model. The EON share fell intraday by about 4.2% to €17.48, but was up roughly 11.7% year‑to‑date in 2026. Q3 figures are expected to be released on November 11, 2026. » Más en finanzen.net
Eon falls to January low after disappointing draft from the Bundesnetzagentur
Eon shares fell intraday to €17.135, extending their decline after the quarterly report; they are down about 8 percent for the week. The trigger is the Bundesnetzagentur’s draft determination for gas regulation 2028–2032, which foresees a standardized return on capital of 3.76 percent—well below market expectations of 4.5–5.5 percent. Analysts fear the draft could also lead to lower returns in the power business. Eon said it will carefully analyze the draft; CEO Leonhard Birnbaum emphasized the importance of adequate returns for investment. » Más en finanzen.net
Eon rises to top of DAX after positive verdict from Goldman
Eon shares climbed almost 2% in the DAX and reached their highest level since mid‑April, with the annual high of €20.39 within reach. Goldman‑Sachs analyst Alberto Gandolfi views the government’s reform package positively, as it focuses on energy grids and is likely to boost investment in the sector. He raised his earnings estimates for Eon and confirmed the €24 price target, which would correspond to a price level from 2011. » Más en finanzen.net
