Equinor signs 15-year natural gas supply contract with Uniper

From 2027, Equinor will deliver more than 30 terawatt-hours of natural gas annually to Uniper in Germany via existing pipelines. Equinor has acquired a 17.4% interest in exploration licence PEL 90 in the Orange Basin off Namibia from Harmattan Energy (a Chevron subsidiary), marking its first market entry in Namibia. The licence covers block 2813B, which contains a drill‑ready prospect with development planned for 2026; Chevron remains operator.
