The Peruvian subsidiary of Gilat Satellite Networks has signed a $14 million contract with the regional government of Ayacucho under the “Obras por Impuestos” program for a fiber broadband project. The project is to be completed within 18 months and will lay over 1,060 km of fiber as well as provide network monitoring, LAN installations, end-user devices and training. Gilat reported Q2 2026 revenue of $122.7 million (+17% YoY) and diluted EPS of $0.10, narrowly beating the revenue expectation and meeting the EPS estimate. Adjusted EBITDA rose 31% to $15.4 million, the EBITDA margin improved to 12.6%, and the company reaffirmed its full-year guidance (revenue $500–520 million, adjusted EBITDA $61–66 million). Gilat Satellite Networks has won orders worth more than $20 million from a global satellite operator for SkyEdge services and systems. The orders, representing about 4% of revenue over the past twelve months, include ongoing services, ground-segment systems and network management for multi-orbit connectivity; the bulk of deliveries is expected within 24 months.
