Groupe Minoteries has found a buyer for the Steiner Mühle site in Zollbrück; the ownership change will take effect on 1 May 2027. The buyer will remain active in food production and intends to take on parts of the 28 employees. The sale covers the provision made for the residual value of the infrastructure and can be reversed, which significantly improves the previously communicated result (half-year loss so far CHF 962,000 including a provision of CHF 3.1m). Groupe Minoteries recorded an EBIT loss of CHF 1.42 million in the first half and closed with a net loss of CHF 962,000 after a profit of CHF 2.65 million in the same period last year. Weighing on results were CHF 3.1 million in provisions (including CHF 2.8 million of write-downs on residual values in Zollbrück and CHF 250,000 for the social plan) and CHF 5.47 million higher personnel and operating expenses from the full integration of the Swiss peeling mill E.
