The takeover of MAC Copper by Harmony Gold was approved by the Royal Court of Jersey and is therefore legally binding. Harmony Gold (Australia) acquires 100% of the issued share capital of MAC Copper under a Scheme of Arrangement, which had previously received approvals from FIRB and the South African Reserve Bank. The implementation date is 24 October; shareholders on the record date of 17 October will receive payments between 27 and 31 October.
