Heritage Global is acquiring, in an all-cash transaction effective Jan. 1, substantially all of DebtX’s assets for about $8.5 million through its subsidiary Heritage DebtX LLC. The acquisition is intended to strengthen the Financial Assets division, expand its presence in the loan secondary market, and add advisory, valuation and market data capabilities for loan portfolios.
