Unicorn Asset Management buys 3.87% stake in Ilika

Unicorn Asset Management has acquired a 3.87% stake in Ilika and now holds 7,698,753 voting rights. The holding consists exclusively of shares; financial instruments are not part of the position. The total number of Ilika voting rights is 198,889,314. Ilika cooperates with Brompton to integrate solid-state batteries into e-bikes

Ilika is launching a 12-month development programme, funded with £214,000, with Brompton to integrate 10-Ah Goliath solid-state cells into battery packs for folding e-bikes. The programme begins on 1 July 2026; production and on-bike field tests are planned for mid-2027, subject to technical milestones. The aim is higher energy density, reduced weight and improved fire safety to meet requirements in China and address concerns from insurers and transport operators in the West. » Más en de.investing.com
Ilika grants executives and employees option packages over 2.686 million shares

Ilika has allocated options on 2,686,175 ordinary shares (1.49% of share capital) across two programmes. Under the long-term incentive plan 634,956 options were granted, including 625,360 to CFO Jason Stewart at an exercise price of 1 pence; under the EMI programme 1,182,063 options went to employees and 869,156 to CEO Graeme Purdy at 27.5 pence each. The options vest subject to performance targets over three years; after the allocations Stewart holds 1,672,094 options (0.92%) and Purdy 4,180,726 options (2.31%).
