Kia America is recalling nearly 463,000 Telluride midsize SUVs from 2020–2024 after the NHTSA found the front power seat motor can overheat if a seat slide knob is stuck or a prior recall repair was done improperly, creating a fire risk while parked or driving. The agency advises owners to park outdoors away from structures until repairs are completed. Kia adds an all-wheel-drive variant of the EV4 for model year 2027 with 195 kW system output (125 kW front, 70 kW rear), 385 Nm torque and 0–100 km/h in 6.5 seconds. The AWD version is offered only with the 81.4-kWh battery and reaches up to 560 km WLTP; combined consumption 16.2–16.5 kWh/100 km.
