Kingsoft Cloud sets placement price for HK$2.8 billion — stock falls

Kingsoft Cloud placed 338 million ordinary shares at HK$8.29 per share in an upsized placement totaling HK$2.802 billion via offshore transactions under Regulation S. Morgan Stanley Asia acted as placement agent; completion is expected by Oct. 2, 2025. The company plans to invest 80% of net proceeds in AI-related infrastructure and cloud capacity and 20% in working capital and general corporate purposes, with planned use through the end of 2028.
