Kühne+Nagel has opened a new healthcare center of around 3,500 m² in Cargo City South at Frankfurt Airport. The facility offers about 2,500 m² of storage space at 15–25 °C, over 500 m² of refrigerated space at 2–8 °C as well as ultra-low-temperature storage at −70 °C, temperature-controlled staging areas and dedicated handling zones for pharmaceutical shipments. Klaus‑Michael Kühne has arranged his estate so that the private Kühne Holding and its shareholdings will pass to a family foundation to prevent power struggles.
