Robotics company Kuka plans to cut a total of 560 jobs at its Augsburg site, up from the previously announced 400, mainly in robot production. The reason is a lack of new orders worth around €100 million, weak demand from the auto industry and rising competition from Asia. Some tasks are to be transferred to Hungary; Kuka is part of the Midea Group.
